Our Services

Estimating

Having years of practical knowledge within the industry our policy is to provide a detailed quotation specific to a particular job, in effect we endeavour to ensure that any inherent problems are high-lighted at an early stage and our prospective client advised accordingly.

It is company policy to investigate all aspects of construction methods and logistics prior to submitting a unique estimate which is not open to obfuscation or interpretation.

Project Management

Once an order is received an individual member of our senior management team will be designated as a sole point of contact for the overall duration of the contract, this person will be responsible for full co-ordination both internally & externally.

Drawings

All drawings are computer generated 3D models from which fully dimensioned arrangement and detailed fabrication drawings are produced including all associated material, bolt and delivery lists.

Our experience within the industry and knowledge allows a vehicle for dialogue throughout a project period ensuring any unforeseen late changes are accommodated without delay and where possible before fabrication commences, this has the added advantage of keeping any abortive costs to a minimum.

Fabrication

All our fabrication is carried out in compliance with NSSS 5th Edition.

Cutting, drilling and marking is computer controlled, however we believe it is prudent to ‘measure twice & cut once’ and on this basis ensure that final checks for accuracy are carried out by fully trained and competent shop floor supervisors in line with our in-house Q.A. system.

In-house facilities provide for the application of a complete range of protection systems, these are applied within a controlled environment and subsequent to shotblasting.

Transport

We only use accredited transport companies and organizations who are familiar with articulated vehicles supplied with experienced drivers.

Erection

It is company policy that prior to delivery of steelwork we discuss/agree transport and any co-ordination arrangements with the main contractor’s site manager.

To our clients this is the first sight of the fabricated members and in this respect forms an immediate and irreversible impression, as such we place high importance on continuous and efficient programmed deliveries.

We only use site teams who are competent, experienced and in possession of appropriate CSCS/CPCS registration cards or similar approved.

All works are carried out in full compliance with the National Structural Steelwork Specification (5th Edition) and associated tolerances.

Our aim is to carry out erection to an agreed sequence of works in accordance with the clients programme requirements.

Raisco’s supervisor will liaise closely with the overall site/project manager to ensure effective progress with minimum disruption.

We will ensure that all Health & Safety issues are of the highest importance and any concerns investigated and addressed before our arrival on site.
